Yoga in a Hurry » Welcome

connie-02.JPGWelcome and Relax!

I am glad you arrived at my blog. Now it is time to slow down a little. Before you read on, take a moment to sit up straight, and take a deep breath in through your nose, then slowly and gently breathe out through your mouth. You may want to add a gentle (or not so gentle!) sigh. Repeat this a couple of times, then close your eyes for just a few moments.

Who is this Blog for?

This blog is mainly for women (of course men are welcome as well and I am sure you will benefit from the information on my blog).

There are times when you need a lot of extra support. With families being scattered all over the world, often there is no one to turn to.

Some of these times are:

  • pregnancy
  • childbirth and adjusting to a new baby
  • menopause
  • trying to juggle children, marriage, career and household
  • illness (yourself or in your family)
  • separation and divorce

What benefits will I get reading this blog?

  • You will feel a supported and uplifted.
  • You will find out that you are not alone, that your problems and struggles are not unique. Over time we will build a community of women who will be able to support each other.
  • You will find information, resources and products that will help and support you through the different (sometimes difficult) stages of your life.
  • Together, we will take baby steps towards a healthier, more balanced, “yogic” lifestyle.
  • You will feel better overall, more balanced and relaxed. This will enable you to take better care of yourself.
  • You will get fresh ideas how to approach and handle different situations in your life - whether they are related to business, relationships, parenting, or health.

What is this blog all about?

  • This is NOT a blog about yoga postures or “workouts”, although from time to time I may talk about a particular yoga posture.
  • This blog will teach you how to approach life from a yogic perspective.
  • Over time this blog will become a storehouse of valuable, practical, “hands-on” resources for you to use. I will also provide well researched information.
  • you have a place to “chill out” for a little while
  • a place to just be and relax
  • a place where you will feel nurtured and supported
  • a place of hope
  • a place for new ideas
  • you will leave feeling refreshed, ready to go on.
