First Time?

 Welcome to my Blog!

Yoga in a Hurry content is produced by Connie, Your Yoga Partner. I am experienced Yoga teacher who has been teaching over the last 15 years. I live and work in Sydney, Australia. I have been involved in Yoga for over 26 years. During that time I accumulated a lot of yoga knowledge which I want to share and pass on.

In case you discover little quirks in my English - I migrated to Australia from Germany quite a long time ago, so English is not my first language!

Yoga has helped me enormously to navigate through some very difficult patches in my life. It can do the same for you!

The world is changing at a rapid pace and stress is a major factor in nearly everybody’s life. I hope that my site will become a place of rest and relaxation for you.

What is Yoga in a Hurry? What benefits will I get from reading this blog?

Yogainahurry.com is a blog (website) aimed at busy, stressed-out women going through different phases in their life-cycle. (Men of course are welcome as well).

Some transitions might be exciting, others might be very challenging, stressful and difficult. Here are some of them:

  • Pregnancy and birth
  • being a new parent,
  • menopause,
  • being a midlife parent,
  • becoming a grandparent,
  • ill health

This blog is ideal for you if you think that Yoga is not suitable for you because:

  • you are too old
  • you have absolutely no time and are too stressed to do anything for yourself
  • you are too inflexible
  • it is too late for you to start
  • you think yoga is too difficult

Yoga consists of lots of different building blocks and the famous “pretzel” postures are just one piece of the jigsaw. Postures will NOT be the main topic of my blog.

On my blog you will find a growing collection of articles on:

  • many aspects and teachings of yoga
  • how to manage your stress
  • how yoga relates to everything else in your life
  • how we can make the world a better place for everyone
  • natural health and healing

Fresh content is added regularly, including:

  • practical tools to use for your yoga practice
  • how-to instructional articles, audio and video
  • information about upcoming yoga events
  • philosophy
  • poetry
  • recipes
  • explanation and discussion of various natural therapies
  • information about upcoming workshops and anything else in the spirit of yoga that I consider worthwhile to pass on to my readers
  • information about worthwhile products/services and product reviews
